Dual core 240/61 balun 1500 watts RTTY 3KW ICAS.
CURRENT BALUN
- Each balun and antenna is hand crafted, built right here in the USA.
- Using the best materials.
- The ferrite cores are 2 1/4" in dim. using 240/61 material. Teflon wire.
- It is encased in 3 inch pvc round tubing.
- Stainless steel hardware is used.
- Double aluminum ferrals are used to hold the wire in place on the balun double machine crimped.

Quickly switch bands and eliminate a tuner as one more thing to adjust. Eliminate send/receive tuner loss.
Due to the fact that one wire leg of the antenna is shorter than the other, the OCF is more convenient to erect than a regular center fed dipole. Less coax is required.
Check the SWR always BEFORE using with any antenna tuner.
The dipole is constructed using top quality, Poly-STEALTH ™ 13 Breaking strength 370 lbs.

NOTE: Some bands will require the use of a tuner. Do not try to load 80 meters with a outboard tuner on the 160 OCF if the SWR is high it will result in damage to the cores and your equipment.

Add your 50 Ohm coaxial feed line, suspension rope and go
Can be hung Flat or inverted V configuration. Remember stay away from power lines.

OCF Windom Dual core Current balun 3KW Poly-Stealth OCFDC3KW
I had this antenna up about an hour. Sorry, it did not meet my needs. The Mounted at 40 feet 7 feet from tower. The only band below 2:1 was 40 meters. I have a rotatable dipole for 40 meters and wire antennas can not compete. I wanted it for the phone portion of 75 metes mostly but I think it is cut for 80 meters or 3.500 MHz. If you can give me the dimensions for 75 meters I would appreciate. Otherwise I guess I will try to resell to a 80 meter CW operator.

Hello Chris, Finally found the time to leave a 5***** Star Review. I was going to purchase this dipole from just the ratings it has received. But, I decided to give Chris, the owner a call anyways. I purchased the OCF Windom Dual core Current balun 3KW Poly-Stealth 8 Band, 270 feet Dipole. I wanted to ask Chris a few questions before I purchased it. Chris answered everything I needed to know and in fact, went in to depth on them. Chris was polite, considerate, and very knowledgeable. I purchased the Dipole immediately after the phone call. 2 weeks later, the Dipole arrived as promised. I had everything ready to the Dipole up. Had it up in 1 hour. It's completely assembled and built like a Tank!!! I couldn't believe the Quality of the Dipole. Every band was under 2 on the SWR Meter with no tuner. I hear stations I never heard before and the Dipole is so quiet. I was so impressed, I called Chris again to say thank you for an outstanding product. And if you think I'm kidding about the Dipole, being built like a tank. I'm not! The Performance is Just outstanding! If your thinking of buying a Dipole, come here 1st! Excellent build quality. Have not been able to get it in the air yet. Saturday is the day that my friend is going to hang the stand off at the top of my 43 foot tower. I have used many of your antennas. Good stuff.
• 7 band OCF Windom Dual core Current balun 3KW Poly-Stealth
Arrived about 2 weeks following order. Erected immediately with balun hung 30' high on a "messenger" hung perpendicularly to antenna, between two trees. (90 ft leg at zero degrees downward, 45 ft leg about 30 degrees downward. The first 40 ft of coax in RX8 for reduced weight, terminating at a grounded lightning arrester. Another 30 ft of RG8U completes the run to the TS590s. Another 65' OCF dipole crosses a couple of feet above the new one at right angles, following the messenger line. I tested and compared both antennas during winter field day., plus some digital work. The new dipole tuned up 1:1 on 80,40,20,17,15,12,10 and 6m , but not 160 or 30m. It seemed to work fine for about 320 of the 360 degree radius . The older windom at right angles would do better only for stations located at less than 20 degrees from the alignment of the new windom. (Old shorter windom will tune up on 30m. ) I'm happy that I can operate the new windom with the skewed inverted V (ie- only the 45 ft leg is "inverted"). So, so far, so good. Good value! This is my second OCF from NI4L. The quality and workmanship is great and I think it performs well. I can tune all bands with the internal tuner on my FT-950, not true of some other OCFs.

2nd OCF antenna purchased hete!
This is my second 7 band OCF antenna purchased here. The first one I put up 3 weeks ago st 35 foot center inverted V. Upon checking the antenna with my antenna analyzer I found the SWR across all bands to be very low. OK now for the real test. Went to the shack and verified the SWR readings on my Powrr Master 2 meter . OK still very low on all bands. I fired up the Flex 5000 and AL82 and started making contacts on all 7 bands. Great reports. Antenna hears really good and works well when transmitting!! I ordered a second OCF antenna for my permanent campsite. I will be installing it in the spring when the campground opens. Great antenna that I highly recommend !!!

I gave it a 4 star instead of a 5 star only because I have not actually used it yet. I bought it as a secondary antenna so was not too concerned about it, but I found the quality of materials and construction to be top notch. A windom is a windom so I know what to expect in performance but this is much better made than I was expecting for the money.
